So what version will you buy?

I was really hoping for a $100 collectors edition like the last three GW games had and I really didn't want a statue (let alone a statue of my least favorite race), but I'll still probably get the big box, if only for the art prints. What does everyone else feel like shelling out for?

CE for me.

Even though it's 129.99. I was expecting around that anyway.

I'm really tempted to get the CE, but I can't really afford it, so I'll settle with the regular edition. >_>

If you don't want what's in the CE, don't complain about it being $150.00. There is a totally killer looking figurine that is almost a foot tall, a huge book about the making of the game (amazing opportunity for some great information, plus the prosterity), a soundtrack (GW2 music sounds superb from what i've heard), beautiful art prints, a frame for them, a tin box, and some sweet in-game bonuses all included. If you take into account all the effort and time that went into this game simply as a thought process, let alone programming and designing it, i feel like what they're giving you is more than enough for a fan to justify the price. To a real GW enthusiast, this is a must have, but if you're a WoW or SW:TOR refugee, why compain? I will purchase the CE because i believe it's worth it to support a great developer that puts out a real piece of themselves into their stunning product. With that said, there is a reason why it's called a "Collecter's Edition."

Posting this again here just as a precaution. I will be purchasing the CE because I want everything GW2 can offer me in terms of material. Plus, when i saw that the book was about the making of the game, 150 bucks didn't seem so bad. There are very few games i will actually go all out for and this is one that has been long awaited for me. (5 years)

The only other games i can think of that i've ever got so stoked about was the Pokemon franchise, but that's a guilty, childhood nostalgia pleasure.

the steam version when it's 75% off, maybe. Assuming Anet hasn't killed the game before that.

You'll probably have to wait a good 3-5 years for that, guy.

I think I'll get the Digital Deluxe, but with some crap going on lately I've been having to spend money on other things, I might not afford it when April comes.

I'll probably grab the digital deluxe depending on what my friends do. If they get the normal version, I will too because I want to experience the game for the first time with them.

It sucks when two or three are just starting and one or two of us are just holding our hands through the game because they already played for a week.
