The officially unofficial 'Can I Run It' Topic...

Minimum requirements have been released. For those of you who don't know jack about computers. Post your specs in this topic and the ones that DO know about computers will let you know how they think you'll do. We can also recommend upgrades if necessary, but you'll have to be willing to shell out a little cash, obviously. I'm hoping that this topic will keep the board from being flooded, but if it doesn't, oh well.

MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Windows® XP Service Pack 2
Intel® Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz, Core i3, AMD Athlon 64 X2
Nvidia GeForce 7800, ATI Radeon X1800, Intel HD 3000 (256MB of Video RAM and Shader Model 3.0 or better)
25GB of Hard Drive Space

For non-techies, these requirements are extremely low. It's kind of impressive, to be honest. Who doesn't have Windows XP SP 2 or higher these days? And Intel HD 3000 is an integrated graphics card, so I am surprised it's listed as being able to run this.

But I digress. Post your specs. We'll help you out. Won't we you guys? *Glares*

So basically $500 can get you a gaming quality PC to run this. How the mighty have fallen. Stupid console generation. -_-

Are you saying this is a bad thing? How the declining price of decent gaming PC's a bad thing?

Low. Your PC is a bit better than the minimum, but not much, especially video card wise.

Looks like I'll be playing on low again, unless I can use my tax returns this year to build a PC (I have a hefty bonus from out-of-pocket college expenses this year, going to take $1500 of that and build a gaming rig).
