Probably not, given the integrated graphics card.

MAYBE on minimum settings, on lower resolutions, with crappy performance.

I was able to run TOR decently on low. Is this game more demanding?

I would be inclined to disagree, my laptop specs aren't much greater than yours and I run high end each beta, although there is a lot of debate as whether compatibility checks have occured or to what effect.

Before release, there will be a purchase free weekend event, I would test your laptop then, but to be on the safe side, start saving, you can easily build a compatible machine for 500 USD/700 GBP.

Guild Wars 2 is on the list. With some games it will tell you if you "meet minimum, meet recommended, or exceed' specs. Other games will be either you meet minimimum or not. If it doesn't have 'recommended' if you're 2/3rd the way up the rating bar, you'd be at 'recommended' if they'd have give 'recommended' specs.

It will ask you for permissions each and every time you use it. I've been using it for close to a decade I think. Never had an issue. No viruses. No trojans. No funny business. Just an honest appraisal of my computer.
It's not 2004, stop making excuses...

Your laptop would probably overheat and crash if you played longer than 25-35 minutes at a time, provided you can even download it. There's no way you could WvW and high populated PvE areas would possibly cause your computer to explode. Other than that, you should comfortably enjoy Runescape grade graphics at an extremely low resolution.

Edit for RAM lolz.
