Sell Junk safe to use?

TC, sell junk works just fine. If you're that paranoid about it, you can put the stuff you're worried about in the bank first. It's never given me any problems.

It only sells things that have no other use except being sold (hence why it's considered junk). It will never sell equipment, crafting material, or salvageable items.

So yes, it's 100% safe to use.

There is no way it sold your masterwork axe. I'm sure that was something else and you just thought the "sell-junk" option did it.

Ditto.

Lionheart is either trolling or not very bright

Either way what's the big deal?

If you're paranoid about it then you're going to be paying attention to the items you don't want to sell, and if somehow by some centaur magic it did sell something wrong...you could just buy it back.

Lol at you guys not having invisible/safe bags to store your important items in.

The game allows you to craft bags that hide items so it's impossible to sell them while they're there.

There are also bags in which junk items will go automatically, put one of the bottom of your bag list and you'll have a backpack full of actually useful items!

This would be a reasonable thing to say if the trading post was up..

Unfortunately...

I've never had any issues with it, and I can't see it being easy to screw up, coding-wise.. But if others have had problems and you're actually concerned, don't use it - or get those special bags that make stuff not show up in vendor sell lists.
