is the map bigger or just about the same as skyrim, i have been mostly playing skyrim

that's hard to judge.

my gut wants to say its smaller, but the scale feels similar because of how the environments are laid out, etc.

the zones are not a big blob of land like skyrim

Uhh, yeah. There is no way that Skyrim is larger than Guild Wars 2, or even close to it.

If console gaming is so cheap then why do I have to spend $600~ in order to play Super Mario Galaxy, Uncharted 3 and Halo 3?

are you talking zone map or the world map? Because I'm pretty sure that if you compare the world map, GW2 is huge... considering all the outter setllements that you'll face close to lvl 80.

so would you say maybe twice as big as skyrim or like just cause 2 map that was big?
