What's up with that? Just killing some grubs, and keep getting this.

Such is your fate.

Players where spending too much time accessing the game's content, so ANet put a limit on how long you can play for each day in accordance with their Anti-Fun policy. You're about to be logged out.

Alright... partna... just keep on trollin baby

Something about the grubs' drops is bugged - I was having the same problem yesterday. It seems like whatever they were supposed to be dropping is glitched or removed or whatever.

People were exploiting a mob that summoned grubs for quick and easy craft mat farming.

oh is that what that's about? I was getting that message by morgans spiral in caledon forest and assumed it was because I had to go do the DE to restore the tree to be able to do the jump puzzle.... don't remember there being any grubs by there though

I love it how ingenuity is translated to exploitation.

That's like saying Apple and Samsung must be exploiting because they are making massive profits.

I've only heard about it for the grubs.
Interesting...

It's always something with this game, but it is still early.... I guess.
I still stand b my belief that it needed another year of development though.

Here's a real exploit: Mass-creating accounts to receive free cash shop goods. (Vindictus / if any of you guys actually know what I'm talking about)

This is not an exploit: How often a mob spawns / summons minions.

Definition of an "exploit" (in this case): To gain an unfair advantage, benefit unfairly..

Where is the unfairness? The mob is accessible to anyone through normal gameplay means..

Doing something (usually something that takes little to no effort/movement whatever) that was overlooked in development/testing to potentially gain an advantage IS an exploit, even if it is the fault of the development team.

However, the way they have TP and other things in the game set up, it really only impacts the person taking advantage of it, in no way harming other players or aspects of the game.

Things like this are being treated as though someone found a way to press a button over and over again to generate millions of real life money.

And the fix? Ban people or block aspects of game content instead of quickly fixing it and doing an emergency patch, which is more common with MMOs.

Sounds like a bunch of exploiters are mad they can't exploit any more. Go ruin another game's economy. I would say WoW, but that game is already dead with the arrival of Guild Wars 2.

Jeremy Lin is going to bust harder than Greg Oden and he won't even have injuries as an excuse. He will be exposed as a terrible player.
