Basic moneymaking tips?

I'm talking real basic stuff, like whats worth salvaging vs vendoring vs auctioning?

Once I hit level 80 and had already reached 400 with 2 crafts (one of them food) I started to attempt 100% map completion. I also picked up MF armor and trinkets as well as making omnomberry bars (they give you 30% mf and 40% gold find). I don't know how well my case is but in the past week I've made 20gold just by selling access resources used in crafting. Also getting to know when dragons show up is a good idea.

Unless you plan on crafting, auction off everything.

My best tip for you is to farm orichalcum daily with as many characters as you can and enjoy the rest of the game. (you'll make money as you progress anyway)

Don't focus on farming, will ruin the whole experience for you.

I wish to know the same thing as TC, but without selling materials.

I'm lvl 80 with decent MF gear (bit over 100%) and I already eat the food with 30% MF and 40% gold.

Yet still, I barely make any money. (below 1 gold total ...)

Something to note that I know stops a lot of my money making:
I salvage every rare (weapon or armor), (any) light armor and rags for ecto's and gosammer. (working towards crafting my preferred armor and I want to find mats myself, no TP for me)
I do that with master salvaging kits, so sometimes I seem to be losing money just by teleporting, buying salvage kits and repairing equipment :/

I provide my own stuff mainly, but I'd like some gold to buy (gems for) bank space with, to stash some more stuff I'd like to collect/keep.

Works better if you got large amounts of gold to start with.
Even then, a very tedious work, too many people are doing it at the same time.

Best in the long run and if you're in no rush to make immediate profit.
