Yes it does suck, but the game is not a simulation and there are other modes like circuit racing and street racing. --- "And for people who criticize people who steal, I hope one they you get robbed just so you know how it feels."
The thing that bothers me is that a lot of these racing rely on that "not realistic" aspect...it just seems like a cop-out and an excuse to release shiny garbage...even the racing modes feel hokey in comparison to other games AND real life...
Have you tried forza 2? Thats the nearest to realism you're going to get on a console. Otherwise try GTR or RACE on the PC. More realistic = Less sales and it probably wouldn't be any fun. Imagine racing for 2 hours and having engine failure, puncture, etc. on the last lap. --- "And for people who criticize people who steal, I hope one they you get robbed just so you know how it feels."
Yea I have had Forza 2 beaten for quite some time, I just don't want to see too many games with the cheese value sky high like NFS Pro Street...which is a far worse game than GRID currently is...I do however like some of their car choices
The drifting got me down too. I'm used to the arcade type games and I'm currently looking for another franchise since EA let me down with ProStreet. This game is shaping up to be a new fav. Since Topcat is the professional, what would you do with the drifting?
