System turns off...

Ok, I've narrowed it down.
This game is turning my system off. -_-'

And i get stuck with a flashing red light (on ps3)

Anyone else getting this?

I deleted the game, and had no issues for a week. Installed it again... 5mins in,
*system turns off*
And again, on stage 4.

I deleted the game, Been OK all day. Just downloaded it a 3rd time.
It turns off on the 1st stage...

sigh..

I have the same exact problem. I got the game as part of the "Welcome Back" promotion, and I believe the patch has properly installed, since it does let me play. However, I can normally only complete one to three stages before the system power flashes and shuts off abruptly.

It means a certain transistor on ur graphics card has burnt out and the ps3 is switching itself off when it gets too hot. Fully expect a YLOD very soon.

Its only on stardust, no other game does it.

If every game did it, i would know that its hardware issue. But one game causing it.. not so much.
I've taken stardust off harddrive. Have had no issues. Hell.. i played 9 hours of dragons age with no probs, >_>
Soon as i put Stardust on HD, it'll crash system.

Same deal! Although I will say that one of my other downloaded games, Infamous, also crashes at a higher rate than my other games (Magic, Final Fantasy 13, The Orange Box).

Stardust crashes after 30 seconds to 5 minutes, whether I'm playing or just running the demo. There was a new patch for me to download today, but I don't think it had any effect.

Stardust and a couple of other games use a particular part of the graphics card that no other games do. Trust me you WILL ylod if you keep playing stardust....FACT.
