How do you get to them?

Once you have an esper they will appear on those gap. If you have no esper yet, don't worry about it for now, cuz it can spoil your game if i give to many details.

Just in case, if you're at the very beginning, you also have yet to unlock (the ability to activate) Gambit Licenses.

Also, be aware that there are Quickenings that MUST be unlocked in order to activate some Separate Squares. Just scan the whole board first before activating any
