Hi, something messed up with my display driver and I can't seem to fix it, so I'm going to have to restore my system to an earlier date, which willdelete sc2 on my computer. I'd like to back up my save, does anyone know how?

It would depend on your operating system.

I'd need to double check (something I can't do at the moment as I'm on my XP machine) but it should be in

C: Drive/*User_Name*/AppData/Local (or maybe /Roaming)/Blizzard (or /Activision)

Basically look in the AppData folder within your Username. If it's not there, try looking in SC2's install directory. >.>

Just double checked. I was wrong.

Libraries > Documents > Starcraft 2 > Accounts > *bunch of numbers* > *bunch of letters and numbers* > Saves

All I could find in there was a battle.net folder with files I'm pretty sure were not save files. Same in the installation directory. Maybe I'm looking for the wrong type of file?

It saves on Blizzard's servers. I hope there's a way to archive your save files offline...

You can save locally when playing as a guest, but still if your Internet is down or their servers are down you can't access your single player files??

To my knowledge the game holds your save over the starcraft server, therefore if you don't have an internet connection you don't have a save file. So I don't think you have to worry about it but I'd wait for someone else's response just to be sure.
