How to Easily Increase your FPS by 30+

#1CatalystGuitar18Posted 7/28/2010 10:08:58 AM
Step 1. Delete Starcraft 2
Step 2. Boot windows partition
Step 3. Install it on windows.
Step 4. ???
Step 5. Profit like you're Donald Trump in Argentina.

My poor, poor mac just couldn't do it. Thank god for boot camp.

To the OP, that's because a Windows OS on Mac hardware runs better than a mac OS on mac hardware...I have actually run benchmarks and it's hilarious that windows takes better advantage of the mac hardware than OSX does :)

Works great on my Mac Pro! Even though I have thought about seeing how it would run in bootcamp too...

So basically Windows > Mac?

*sees Mac users with pitch forks in the distance*

Time to run.

My 2008 macbook with 4 gigs of memory can run this on ultra/high (lowered shadows and shaders) just fine. The only problem I noticed is that there seems to be a memory leak. I have to restart the game after 3-4 hours or it gets unplayable.

On my windows partition I can run it on full ultra without the memory leak. Blizzard just needs to optimize better.
