My mom's kind of worried that the stuff the ESRB rated this game for will be innapropriate for me... I'm very confident this game will be fun, but is it, i don't know, "Okay" for a 13 year old kid?

If you're on the internet, it won't have anything you haven't seen before. My friends and I played the original Fallout when we were 10~ish

You should ask your parents....?
ADD, no. Where is the thread for Fallout OCD players?
"We have to keep it on page 3 or it freaks out."

While some 13 year olds could handle it, I would rather err on the side of caution and say that a 13 year old should not be playing this game. That's why the game is rated M to begin with.

On a side note, I would propose that the TC's mom should be given a medal for being a parent who actually pays attention to the ratings of the games her kid is wanting her to buy for him/her. A nice change of pace from the hundreds of parents who complain about their kids playing violent games but don't realize that they are the ones who bought those games for the kids in the first place.
This is no time to be arguing about time! We don't have the time!

i wouldn't let my kids play it. i think m rated games should be 18 and up, but i'm in the minority for sure.

There's no sex and little if any cursing, just some gory violence.

I think you're parents should test the game first to see what its all about and then come to a conclusion on whether or not to let you play it.

Depends. What kind of movies do you watch and what other games do you play? It'd be nice if kids your age aren't exposed to some of the violence in FO3, but chances are you've already seen worse.
