i use 99 lap one make races at Daytona or let Bspec run the car through an endurano, both work nicely.

Yeah, the Laguna Seca 200 miles endurance race is perfect. Let it run in B-Spec (doesn't matter if you win or not), then come back and change the oil. Perfectly broken-in car.

Breaking in your car, or more specifically your engine, will increase its power output. It caps at 200 miles though, so people would like to get that done in one step, that way when they drive the car themselves, it has the most HP it can have (stock). Then if you have two cars with an oil change and every HP upgrade, one broken in and the other not, the broken in car will have higher HP. Slight advantage

You don't understand what is meant do you? Sure you can tune it to whatever you want, but breaking it in will add more that you can tune with just parts.

I personally take my cars for about 10 laps around Daytona after upgrades. It usually starts the break in process pretty good.

'breaking in' a car properly is pointless, just drive it and it will do it, or is there actually a differences, from my experience there isn't in gt5, but irl is there?
