This is a split board - You can return to the Split List for other boards.

- 4 player split-screen and/ or AI for offline multi player -

make it happen Polyphony!

If other developers can do it (MS:Pacific Rift and Blur) then so can you!

This is the one feature missing from all GT's that would make it a blast. Sure online is the in feature atm and something PD will obviously make better for GT5 but still only having 2 player split-screen, with no AI whatsoever, is disappointing.

I honestly feel that at least one of these two features, or even both, would be a great addition to the series and something which PD should be looking into making a reality.

AGREED! I have some great memories of playing multiplayer with family/friends, and 4player with AI would totally rule. Imagine drafting off the AI on the Mulsanne straight, then passing your buddy at like 150km/h faster than they're going(depending on cars)

4 players= yuck.

2 players=meh, sure.

The online is where it's at, though. May the best racers from around the entire globe unite, not just the best racers from your house.

@SrRd_RacinG

You make it sound like split screen shudnt even be there... its a great addition: some of us prefer playing ppl we know and it makes a good social vibe with a few friends over.

I understand what you're saying, but 4 players on a single screen would not be fun, it'd be more frustrating than anything. I played Motorrstorm: Pacific Rift with two friends (3 players racing), and it was horrible. I could hardly get a feel for the track. I couldn't imagine what 4 would look like. Splitscreen (1 VS.1) could work well. Understand that.

I think it would be cool if you could use the cars from your career mode, so it's tuned instead of them stock like how it was in GT 4. I hated that!

you can use your career cars in GT4. At the car select screen where it shows all the manufacturers, go up to the very top of the screen. There should be a 1 and a 2 icon up there. Select the one you want(depending on which memory card you want to access) and you should enter your garage

In reference to what Bullet says...you CAN use your garage cars.
