So..what's the fastest 1/4 mile time in this game? Which car?

I'd say that one of the GTR's might be up there. Then again, my speed 12 kills almost every single car online.

What do you think?

I blow the veyron away in 1/4 mile. It's too heavy for initial launch

This sounds like one of those "race me if you're brave" topics.

I'd be willing to bet I could tune a Veyron to out drag a GTR any day.

We should all just have a drag day online today.

And later we can play GT5 together.

I might just consider doing that. It would be fun.

If you're going to do drag racing, you should use ProStreet.
It is the one part of ProStreet I really liked, and is one of the best designed drag racing games I've played.

You have to warm up your tires before the run, which affects how well the car hooks up off the line.
It has sensors to detect false starts, rather than simply keeping you from starting until the tree goes green, or using the ever controversial "Go on 25!".
Shift accuracy affects the car's performance significantly, like it should.
Cars with sufficient power and grip can pull wheelstands, and maintain them, like they should.

All around it is just really well thought out, and well executed.

I concer that drag racing was what this game did really well. A 1000hp Dodge Charger With 3 nitrous shots should do a full 1/4 mile on two wheels. I need to play that game again.
