So I was trying to use the Skull of Corruption during Namira's Daedric quest, specifically by using it on the priests. I was hoping to make a copy of the priests, then use Namira's Shroud spell on the clone and hope that the Forgotten Ones would then kill the clone and not the actual "real" priest. Unfortunately, my followers and the Forgotten Ones along with the clone keep on attacking the "real" priest instead.
Some funny observations regarding this quest.
First of all, I find it interesting that everyone (followers and Forgotten Ones) always attack the "real" one and not the clone. I guess the game script/programming is set this way but I find that funny. You would think that they would go after the clone, not the "real" one. Even if they couldn't tell the difference between the two, I would think that the game script would not always have them go after the "real" one, but that's just me.
Second of all, even if use Namira's Shroud on the clone, the Forgotten Ones still attack the "real" priest even though his torch is still lit. I'm like, would you please attack the clone whose torch is out and not the "real" priest who is still carrying a lit torch!
How long would it take for my character to walk around with a lit torch before my putting it out would cause the Forgotten Ones to attack me as well? I find it funny that they will kill the priests the instant their torches go out but I can light my torch off and on all day long and they never attack the main character.
And lastly, have to love how your followers will kill the person who you have used the Skull of Corruption on and the instant they kill them, they start yelling "murder, there's been a murder." Gotta love that one. Well, you were the one who just killed them so that would make you a murderer then. Hello. --- Hey you, yes YOU! If you're not going to answer the posted question, then don't bother to reply!
