Master of the Monster Lair

Problem with 5th floor

I killed the 5th level's boss (Ironside) and the stairs to floor 6 aren't appearing, I tried to expand my floor putting more rooms and stuff but the square is still empty (in the map it have a star symbol).

What's more weird is that Ironside dropped an item, an iron key (the one for the chests)

After the boss was killed, the stair to the next floor should be automatically revealed. Are you sure you beat the boss, not some regular monster? There is no way he would drop an iron key. Did the wall color of the floor changed to white steel?
Btw, are you using any cheats?

If you really killed the floor boss which appears right at magic seal, you should see the stair right away. Yes, i doubt you might have used 1 hit cheat or such.

Actually, I beat the Boss of Floor 9, and only got a treasure box. I had to come back the next day and beat him AGAIN in order to get the stairs.

Weird. No cheats involved, though.

I didn't use any cheats neither, I never cheat in any game, and yes, it was the boss, ironside, weirdly enough, it appeared the next day on the same spot (Haven't beat him yet, not in the mood to do it again, it's a long battle >_>)

Of course it did, it had to or I wouldn't be able to fight the boss

This happened to me once, fighting Leon on the second floor.

Dunno what's up with it, hasn't happened to me since.

Yeah this happened to me as well
its because you have a iron chest still unopened and the stairs won't appear
