Do you need to earn/unlock this move? I thought I saw a vid from early in the game where the player was stomping on downed zombies' heads, finishing them off. When I try this, I just do normal kicks.

I don't remember exactly how/when it became available but I couldn't do it until later in the game. Might have been unlocked through stats, I don't remember.

When you can do it a little symbol appears over their heads while they're on the ground indicating that you can perform the action.

yeppers, ya gotta unlock it in your skill tree. It's under like the combat one, once you get to tier 2 it's unlocked i believe. =3

I'm playing as Sam B, and I'm looking at his skill tree right now, and I don't see anything related to head stomping :(

edit: never mind there it is. Missed it somehow (Blunt Expert)

It's in Logan's combat tree, 4th teir under "Sharp Apprentice". You get sharp weapons bonuses and it says "You can stomp heads!".

its been doing between 12k and 15k damage for my Sam B.
