Split Screen screen switch?

Sign everyone out of their profiles. Left/top player sign in first, bottom.right player sign in second. Left/top player will control the menus.

Don't even have to do that. Whoever wants to be player 1 just presses start, regardless of their controller position.

The numbering of your controller (1, 2, 3, 4) is so last gen.

seeker, you don't use the community condom bowl? And I doubt you're going to get your bud to leave the house for a couple hours while you cure yourself of a puffed penpen.

Yes we can't change where we are in my room, so any way to do this as I am the host?

Why do you have to be the host? It doesn't make any difference, except change your screen positions.
Let your friend be host and have him select "splitscreen" from the main menu. That will solve all your problems.

What would really help you and myself would be if the screen was split horizontally into two rows.

I hate having no peripheral vision.

I agree. I've always preferred Horizontal split over Vertical, even on my widescreen tv.
That being said, Borderlands split isn't that bad thanks to the increased FOV.

Because if he hosts the game, the game don't count some of my actions, like when I sell items (Millionaire Achievement)...

Or the update fixes that?

Where did you hear that? My friend was hosting and I got the millionare achievement just fine.(as did he, later on)
I have never heard anything about the game 'not counting' some things when you play splitscreen.
