Around chapter eight or so, I noticed that Althea was three, four levels below the rest of the party. I didn't think much of it, and tried to stick her in as many battles as possible in hopes of raising her level a bit.
Somehow that backfired on me, and I ended up with a level 8 Althea in chapter 12. (T_T)
So I've been concentrating on it a bit more than I was before, and I go around leaving monsters weakened and wait for her turn to come around so she can finish them off. She gets a lot of EXP this way, but as much as I try to keep the monsters in one place, inevitably one will come and attack her - sometimes the stronger monsters will KO her in one shot, which is pretty ridiculous. Also, her turn never seems to come around at all. Rina goes around three times before she even gets to go once.
Anything I'm doing wrong? Any way to make it easier? Andandand, any other way to get large amounts of EXP?
"The problem with being unpredictable is that no one will necessarily understand you - nor are they required to."
use altheas ability to rise magic each turn. it doesnt do much and its cost mana but at least you get some exp
The most simple way is to use Rise. 10 exp. every turn. You can fight Quest battles over and over again and use Rise to level up while your other characters fight the enemy.
Other than that, there isn't much you can do besides kill enemies. If she gets killed in one hit, try using Dia's protection (or whatever it was called).
The main thing is to check the enemy levels. Do not try to have Arty fight the strongest enemies. Kill those with your other characters.
Rina is fast (AO=high), so her moving more than Arty is normal.
Also, one more thing, but later in the game, Arty becomes a lot stronger and her AO increases, so when you get to that point, you won't have to worry much about Arty not getting her turn.
The only thing you did wrong was to ignore the level difference and move on without training... perhaps?
