Can I fight non-story battles?

I do not like Fire Emblem because after a story battle, I cannot do anything and it will start another story battle. Sometimes there is just one side quest, but it is very limited.

In Luminous Arc, can I fight any number of non-story battles?

I need free battles, because I want to test characters and level up under-leveled characters.

Through Guild Quests, yes. Not all of them are infinitely repeatable, though.

I guess Rainbow Road makes some amount of sense.

Yes, that one does. :P Could you imagine if it was repeatable lol. Who's in your team: Roland, 2 Therese's and 3 Alice's. :P

Maybe there could even have been a 'you've already got the characters' version of it. Like making it across the rainbow and fighting Alph and the gang as a bonus boss, or something.
