the survival missions are easier than the main missions. just kill enemies without UT/OT and you will get green orbs most of the time. get up to 5x and switch to the windmill shuriken and do UTs with it. im not sure since i didnt play for a while but you should get 3 x 30000 for each enemy you kill with it. you should get to gold before you reach the big spider guy (dont know what hes called anymore) if you do it right.
the missions are a lot worse. the first few are unbelievably easy but it gets really hard form there. ill rank the missions from easiest to hardest for you :
Mission 1 (just ninjas to fight nothing tough) Mission 2 (just 1 worm and a few ninjas) Mission 3 (ninjas and that giant boss) Mission 15 (2x the giant boss)
Mission 11 (2x rasetsu at start+dragons, after that just mechs. pretty easy with the tonfas) Mission 4-7 (all greater fiends) Mission 9 (volfs coliseum with waves of enemies) Mission 8 (fiend genshin + rocket ninjas. oh and no healing items) Mission 13 (sewer with 100 enemies. most of them are human and the sewers are very narrow so use guillotine throw) Mission 16 (genshin and elizebet) Mission 10 (tons of enemies and the dagra dai as final boss) Mission 12 (basically a boss rush. all greater fiends + genshin) Mission 14 (kill 100 enemies. this is probably the hardest of them all.)
just my experience and opinion. did it all on master ninja. have fun
I love this mission mode, STILL working on getting all master ninja ranks. I think I finally have all silver.....I still have 3 weapon runs to do for achievements. I did not do it the "easy" way that other have posted about. I have played a complete game with each weapon. Makes you really learn them, that's for sure. Some of them really suck on certain enemies and bosses.
I wish there were more missions like the one where you climb up the volcano shaft. That mission is epic.
