Dolce-fights missable?

I'm right in the middle of my Encore-run, and I've arrived at the Wah Lava Caves, where you're supposed to fight Dolce by interacting with an X in the ground. Problem is, I don't have any items at my disposal to muster up the challenge right now!
So my question is; can I come back at a later time through teleporting, and complete the fight? Or do I HAVE to take her on right now? Thanks in advance.

No. The Dolce fights become missable when you advance the plot.

If you really can't beat her, you could backtrack all the way to Baroque and restock. Almost every enemy in this game drops healing items too, so you could just stock up that way.

Wait, what? Is that true? :O Oh man, earlier today I got an answer on the 360 board, saying that you could teleport back there to fight her later in the game! Damn, seems like I have to play the game a third time then to get all the achievements... (Yes, I'm playing the 360-version) :/
This sucks...

Actually, it isn't missable. Just tested it, teleported to the nearest teleport near Wah Lava Cave and there I fought Dolce. Later, I teleported to Ritardando, read the pillars, and then teleported to Baroque.
There, once again, I fought Dolce, and then I completed the quest by fighting her at the poison-forest (can't remember the name).
So, for enyone wondering out there; THE DOLCE SIDE-QUEST ISN'T MISSABLE IN ENCORE!
And boy am I glad for that :)

Hmm, I always thought they were. Good to know.

They definitely ARE missable on normal mode, though, since you can't backtrack.
