I think the missions 2,3,4,5,6 on the "Contracts" category also fits within the "Codename 47" category. Remember that the new missions you've played in Contracts were also part of 47's flashbacks.
I do not believe so, I think they are positioned right and I will explain why here. Those missions you mentioned happened after the Hitman: Codename 47 and Hitman 2. In Hitman 2, Mr. 47 continued being a hitman doing those other jobs in Hitman: Contracts and Hitman Blood Money up until the Curtain Drawn mission. At that point he was discovered by the police man and was shot just after finishing the Curtain Drawn mission.
You can see why because if you look at the targets in Curtain Drawn they are the same as the targets in Hunter and Hunted. Although in Hunter and Hunted they were already dead and this is the continuation of that mission, adding now the cop you have to kill and then escape, because he found out to much about you. So those flashbacks could be from anywhere Curtain Drawn and previous.
I hope you understand, how I am looking at it, I could try and explain it better if needed.
Eh dude, seriously about a third of "Contracts" missions are re-makes of "codename 47". The developers thought it would make sense to try and give some background to the series since "Codename 47" is only available for PC. Other than that it looks pretty sound.
"They said I was like a vacuum cleaner with a puffer fish on the end."
Ya i know, thats why I put (Hitman Contracts) mission whatever in the Hitman: Codename 47 to show how they appear in order in the timeline.
I didn't realize that the plots are not in order by game release and that there exists a timeline. I've only played Bloodmoney. I wish there was a FAQ running down the entire series in order by timeline and explaining the missions and how that contributes to the overall plot of Agent 47. Thanks for the information.
