Game freezing

I'm just about to give up on this game. Apart from the corrupt save I had I am now having the game freeze on me. What a disgrace this game is.

I have to wonder why. I'm on my third play-through and haven't encountered a single freeze.

I have to wonder why so many other people have stated they have had the same problems I have and google searching Hitman Absolution freezing 608.000 results.

Right so I've been to the Hitman Absolution message board and it seems they recognized these problems and released a patch. A patch going by the angry responses on the board that appears to have fixed nothing. Oh well I'm trading in this piece of sh1t and won't be buying any other games from this company.

I installed my game and have not had a single freeze.

I'm about 2/3 of the way through the campaign and it's frozen twice. The first time was just after you take out Wade. Second time was during Death Factory, or possibly the one before.

I haven't played any other Hitman games so the this freezing hasn't made the best first impression. I'll be finishing the campaign ASAP and won't be back.

I downloaded the new patch, and then was given a message that I didn't have a file saved. I kept my Contracts stats/info, but lost all of my campaign unlockables.

The new "patch" actually did more harm than good for me.

Yeah it's sad.... This is a great take but the save game issue and freezing are inexcusable
