Game Freezes & wipes all data?

So this past weekend at my friends house I was letting him play Hitman Absolution which I had already played a bit but got again On Demand for the Xbox Ultimate Sale. He just made it through the warehouse & was progressing to the next level when the game froze and my 360 had to be reset. When we went back to the game his and my data were completely erased. Has anyone else had this problem from the GoD version?

It happened to me on the tutorial mission.

I wonder if the GoD version itself is just bugged out or if the issue is caused by the console.

must be the god version having the issues because iv never had any trouble on multiple play throughs with the retail version.

I've been playing the game since & haven't encountered the problem again. Might of just been a one time bug.

in the hopes of attempting to eliminate / narrow down the variables, I will yet again pose the question:

are those of us that are experiencing said issue playing:

a. the g.o.d. version

b. the actual retail disk

c. none of the above

d. all of the above

My retail copy did this.

My retail copy did this twice. It also happened to many others when the game came out. It never has/never will be fixed.

I'm playing retail version. I was doing the tutorial level, selected restart level, and it froze on me. When I restarted, my save was corrupted >(

I can't believe they never patched this game, I should have read reviews about it first.

Sadly this is the one big mar on an excellent game

Back up your saves either to a USB or to cloud storage to endure this doesn't completely screw you over
