Hitman: Absolution

I was frustrated with this game until I started to have fun with it....

I have 6 Platinums:

God of War
God of War II
God of War III
Assassin's Creed II
Dante's Inferno
LA Noire

I won't bother trying to Plat any game that has mutliplayer trophies.

Anyway, I'm not even trying for trophies in Absolution and I am still coming off kind of bored.

Lol, I did the same thing with this and with Dishonored. I was trying to get the no-kill playthrough and then finally just thought, let's just roll with what happens. If I get caught, I'll make myself get out of a jam by any means necessary.

Played a level this morning that had this happen. My disguise got compromised so I bottle-necked myself, took cover and picked up a lot of guns. Picked off the first guys with pistols and TMPs. Found a shotgun and blasted my way through the last 5 guys. "Clear" pops up on the screen. No more bad guys.

Walked the rest of the level, got all my objectives, and slipped out the back door lol.

In the end, I realized this is what 47 would have really done. He doesn't care about who he kills in the process, especially if they're not innocent civilians. These were bad men coming after a little girl.

Kill 'em all.

I passed the level and had a lot of fun doing so lol. Which is why I play video games.

Hitman games have always been kind of like murder-oriented puzzles. The puzzles are still here in Absolution, just in a different format. Getting Silent Assassin isn't as important...the challenges are pretty much the new SA . Finding the best way to, say, knock out and hide 7 researchers without being detected, or kill 5 people in a row with a screwdriver, is just as rewarding.
