#1JDrakoPosted 2/16/2011 10:01:26 PM
Well im thinking of getting this program, but ill like to know how it feels to play a game made on this. I know i can just google or watch them on you tube, but ill really like to play a game made by some of you guys from this forum, so if anyone had made a good game, could you please let me try it? so i can see first hand the potential RMVX has and decide to buy it..

Thanks for the answers and excuse my bad english, is not my main language u.u

Umm, while not really a showcase of new things, the universally agreed greatest RPGM game ever is called A Blurred Line.

It was made for the RPG2K though, which you'll have to get through, not so pretty official sites, but its absolutely worth it, best 5 - 10 hours of rpging on a non-console ever.

^ No, it's not "universally agreed upon".

I've been playing and making RPG's since RM95. A Blurred Line is a good RPG Maker game but I wouldn't say it's the best nor does it cater to many types of gamers.

Also, most of the RPG Maker community has moved on to RPG Maker XP and VX, you should try to play a good RPG Maker VX game. I would recommend The Cartographer.

If you insist on playing old school RM2K games, one of my personal favorites which was also very well received by the public is Shichimenchouken.

Try searching Tales of The Drunken Paladin. Great game, hilarious story, and not your typical expectations from party members!

Not universally agreed on, really. A great deal of people would argue that The Way tops it. Myself included.

Hah, well that shows how many of these games I actually play, and how much time I spend in the community.

Still though, A Blurred Line made me realize how much could be done with these systems. It ain't half bad. Maybe I'm feeling a level of nostalgia though, I played the thing four years ago, so no recent experience here.

I don't think it's just nostalgia. A Blurred Line is a masterpiece! :D I still play through it occasionally.
