^ Exactly what I was going to say. Online is very difficult to program on the Wii so you can see why the Wii has little online games. I don't think Sega would go through with the trouble considering the lack of attention this game is getting. This board for example. You don't see it being active like other games.

Another barometer -

How fast did cheats appear for Super Smash Brothers Brawl?
And how fast have the unlocks appeared for this?

Basically, No-one's really picking up a lot of SEGA spin-off games.

Anyway, I think what went wrong for SEGA is things like Sonic The Hedgehog Next-Gen, the only game to flat out retcon itself out of existence in the timeline, Sonic and the Secret Rings, their Wii debut, which did not get the fine-tuning that the NiGHTS controls did, and Sonic Rush, which sucked... It's sequel doesn't, but it does.

Mario and Sonic got picked up mainly because it's one of only two games where a Nintendo fanboy and a SEGA fanboy can pick up a controller, select their favorite character and actually compete in a realistic way.

Some SEGA fans would ask why half the cast of SEGA Superstars Tennis, at least, didn't appear in Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
To those people, Sonic only appeared since he's there so Nintendo fans can have Mario pwn Sonic and SEGA fans can do the opposite.
I wanted to have Shadow appear, with Space Colony ARK, with a hologram cameo, at least, of Maria, as his unique stage...
But we never get what we want.

Because, to say the least, they have gone down in quality over the years.

Nintendo fans hate Sega games because they suck. When was the last time a good Sonic game was made? 1995? Nintendo has made three great quality 3D Mario Games. Sega cranks out as many 3D Sonic games as they can and we get crap like Shadow the Hedgehog.

And where is Shenmue 3? Ever since Dreamcast died, Sega died with it.

I dunno why, but I prefer Shenmue staying dead. The first was a great game, the second was meh. The current unpopularity of the series gives me a feeling that Shenmue died a martyr of great forgotten games. And I dont want a new game ruining the glory.

I like both. Both are great. But, I'm still a huge nintendo fan. I'm not much of a sega fan. I don't know, for some reason I like Nintendo a little better. I think it's because I like their mascots better. Especially, LUIGI! But that's beside the point. I think that it would be epic if like Spyro and Crash, they switch worlds. Then Nintendo fans would start buying the Mario game. They would be playing a Sega game with a bit of Nintendo in it.
