I can't make sense of how the radar works in Dark Void.
I see that there yellow targets, red targets, etc. Some of them have a "hat" on them. Some of them don't. I can make sense that they are in front or behind or to the left/right of me, but I can't tell if they are above or below me. I also can't "lock" on a target.
Can someone explain how all the symbols and colors work in the radar?

Yellow Blips: Objectives Blue Blips: Items (journals, tech points, etc.) Red Blips: Enemies Green Blips: Friendlies
In all cases, a blip is a dot in the center, with indicators whether the enemy is above or below you. Enemies below you will have half a hexagon below the center dot, enemies above you will have half a hexagon above the center dot, and enemies on your level will be fully surrounded by the hexagon.

Also there isnt a way to lock onto your target, you can just look at the nearest one.
