Anyone know if there is anyway to slow down less when landing after jumps during downhill racing?

Yea, you have to pull back on the wiimote and the nunchuck to brake. After a jump, it takes about a second for you to actually land it and regain control, but if you pull back, your skier will start slowing down. The key to jumps is to have a good trajectory that puts you in a good position to hit the next gate. Then you won't have to brake or turn quick immediately following a landed jump.
