No co-op? BAWWWW!!! Now I have to play by myself, instead of playing on-line with an idiot who refuses to help me while I get killed.

Games like this definitely need campaign co-op!!!!! I mean come on it's like also releasing a Ninja Turtles game with no campaign co-op....that's sjust stupid. My little Step Daughter loves this movie and so does my wife loves the movies....so it would only be fitting that we could all sit down and follow and play with eachother....without campaign co-op this is sadly a no buy for me.

What? No Co-op? That's dumb. I mean Ghostbusters is all about co-op. I seriously may not buy this game if they don't have it. I've never not (double negative but you get me) bought a game because of that, but this is a Ghostbusters game. It should be mandatory to have co-op.

Yeah this is pretty bogus and really doesn't help the game. Plunking down 60 dollars is hard to justify but that would have done it for me. Now I will just have to see how the game turns out replaywise.

Just imagining playing this with friends hunting down a ghost and shooting it and having someone throw out a trap... I guess it all just seemed to good to be true.

From an article I read on IGN today:

"IGN: Can you tell us anything about multiplayer?

Brendan Goss: Ghostbusters does feature a number of online co-op multiplay modes. These are set up as calls around the city that the Ghostbusters go out on. "

So there ya go. Sounds like multiplayer is in the game.

Yes, that's good news, however is there co-op offline? There's a difference between teaming up with gamers online & actually inviting friends/family members to play side by side with you.

Nope, you're stuck with online play, so unfortunately the only solution for the PS3/360 versions in that respect is 2 -4 copies of the game, 2-4 systems and 2-4 televisions in the same room.
