I play Deus Ex with a controller and is already mapped pretty well, game is already 360 controller compatible. The most aggravating thing is that the key board is still in affect when using the controller so moving the mouse or hitting a button on the keyboard causes it to go back to keyboard mode. --- Slang term of the week. "Thats booty as @#$%."
I actually kinda liked that. I'd play with a controller, then any time I'd have to enter a password or type numbers I'd use the keyboard without having to mess with any menus. --- "P.S. This is what part of the alphabet would look like if Q and R were eliminated" - RIP Mitch Hedberg, my hero
Well actually I'm asking generally not specifically for deus ex because I am just now hooking my pc up to my large tv and it is far away from the pc so i need to use wireless controller, but I want to sometimes play co-op or 2 players so I wanted to know if the receiver could take on two controllers. I also want to play other PC games using the wireless controller, some that might not support xbox360 controller. Like right now I'm trying to set up a controller for Rift just for fun and to see how well it actually works.
Actually works pretty good. I set up my buttons in the game as 1,2,3,4,5, then another row as ctrl+ 12345, and another row as ctrl+shift+12345 for 15 abilities mapped to the controller. made right stick mouse movement, left stick wasd, right button is left mouse click, right trigger is right mouse click, left mouse button is left ctrl, left trigger is left shift, x y a b and R3 are 1 2 3 4 5, L3 is tab, dpad up/down is mouse wheel up/down, left dpad is F1 (target self), right dpad is space(jump), select is character sheet, start is esc menu.
