i dont think any starters do. the stretch is used when theres men on base, which is why almost all relievers only pitch from it.

If you wanted your starting pitcher to pitch from the stretch, why not just choose a reliever who does. For example I have a SP who i use KROD's wind up for....

No, I know I can just use a reliever's pitching style, but I wondered if any starters do it and if they don't is it because it hurts their velocity or control or whatever... But I recently found out that the reason that some relievers pitch only from the stretch is that they are used to coming in with runners on base... But thanks for the replies--I'm going to be different--a starter with no windup.... --- I
