How to bat effectively?

When the ball is pitch towards the rectangle box, do you need to adjust the LEFT analog stick while batting?
meaning aiming at where the ball land in the rectangle box.

So both timing and directional control of batting determine where the ball goes.

Another query is about the homerun, there is a power swing and normal swing, so which one is ideal for homerun and what are the cons and pros of each swing?

You can hit homeruns with both depending on your power stat and the location of your swing, velocity of the pitch, etc. I think a power swing gives you a power boost, and I seem to hit homeruns easier with it. If I guess a high fastball, I typically use a power swing, other than that I use a regular one. A power swing is going to be more likely to fly out easily or swing and miss.
