iceeteePosted 1/25/2010 4:15:16 PM | In the folder Mass Effect 2\BioGame\Config
Open DefaultEngine.ini
Scroll down to [SystemSettings] Change UseVsync=True to UseVsync=false
Scroll down to [Engine.VSync] Change ForceFullVSync=True to ForceFullVSync=false
Thank me now that you don't have annoying mouse lag |
tigerex777Posted 1/25/2010 4:23:25 PM | I use vsync and I don't have mouse lag. I do however use D3D overrider for triple buffering so maybe that's why I don't have. But I disabled triple buffering with v-sync and I still don't have any mouse lag. --- PSN - Cholamb79 Games owned - MGS4, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, UC2, VC, Disgaea 3 and Resistance 1. |
TTheAnonymousSPosted 1/25/2010 5:08:58 PM | Mass Effect 2 loads from the DefaultEngine.ini open first load and puts the used settings into coalesced.ini -- which are used by the game. Editing it in the DefaultEngine.ini shouldn't have any effect at all, o.O |
TTheAnonymousSPosted 1/25/2010 5:09:33 PM | Sorry for double post...
Triple-Buffering counters the FPS loss, but should actually ADD to input lag even more. |
iceeteePosted 1/25/2010 7:29:23 PM | I just changed the same settings in the coalseced file. hopefully it works. thanks for the advice. |
