Sounds good. Don't see why Vanguards have shockwave, most useless ability ever.

Here is a serious build you can use even on the higher difficulties:

Incendiary Ammo: 10
Area Shockwave: 10
Pull: 1
Heavy Charge:10
Champion: 10
Reave: 10

You don't need maxed out pull since you've got shockwave. Reave is great for taking down enemy defenses. Anything else need explanation?

Keep telling yourself that. It might be the best power there is. Especially against husks.

Shockwave is good, but it takes FOREVER to recharge.

Mass Pull seems to be more effective imo. As it recharges much faster and has the same radius of that of shockwave.

It's good for knocking enemies out of cover then charging at them if your angle is bad or you want to charge a specific target for a specific cover. It works nicely on Insanity and then it also helps greatly against the Husks on the IFF mission when they gang bang an ally. Drop their armor which is done quickly with a SMG on AP or Warp Ammo, then toss a Shockwave to clear the rest.

I prefer Area Charge and Champion. Champion drops your cooldown period letting you Charge more quickly and with Area Charge you stun multiple targets, or fling multiple targets giving you a better chance of killing them all. That's my preference anyway. Here is my Vanguard build.

Area Charge
Heavy Warp Ammo
Heavy Shockwave
Champion
Pull Lv1
Cyro Ammo Lv3
Incendiary Ammo Lv2

Haven't had much problems on Insanity with this build. I put the points in the other ammo types to toy around with them seeing as I got all the skills maxed worth keeping maxed anyways.
