hello everyone. after years of reading this site and getting cheats and saves that has helped me many times i decided to give something back to everybody.i have a money cheat that i discovered for read alert 3 on the pc. if you want it let me know and i will post it on the site.a thanks will be much appreciated
hello again im gonna post the cash trick i found in ra3 ok here it is FIRST UNHIDE ALL FOLDERS THEN IN THE DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS/YOUR USER NAME/APPLICATION DATA/RED ALERT 3/PROFILES/YOUR USER NAME/SKIRMISH.INI OPEN IT AND CHANGE THIS LINE RU=1 100 10000 TO RU=1 100 999999 FOR $999999 SAVE THE FILE THEN PLAY SKIRMISH BUT IT WILL SAY (10000) (OR WHATEVER YOU SELECTED FOR STARTING MONEY) UNTIL YOU ARE PLAYING A MAP THEN IT WILL SAY '999999'
(sorry about the large text but i wanted to make it clear) try it and see if it works for you it might take a little time but it works 100%
I suppose that could work. I should note that when I tried it my skirmish.ini file was empty. Also, I'm a little dissapointed that it's only for skirmishes.
And depending on your definition of 'cheating', all the C&C games have had .ini hacks, or simply editing the ini file in the older games when they were simple text documents. Had loads of fun in the earlier games giving grenadiers the Obelisk of Light weapon and watching them roam about killing everything.
and in RA2 you had to extract the INI file but once you did you could mess with virtually all the unit stats you wanted. --- I have taken all knowledge to be my province
That's not called a cheat that's called screwing with the .INI file, which should never be touched unless you really know what you're doing. --- This user is a drunken sarcastic Scottish graduate. If ye've got a problem with that, 'mon then ya bawbag!
this message is to 'gerby0902' you wanted me to help you find the folder so you can try the money cheat/glitch whatever well here goes on windows xp open up the my computer folder and select 'tools' then 'folder options' click 'view' then click 'show hidden files and folders' click apply and then ok then go into my computer click on c: drive then follow my instructions.hope this has helped you (my net connection is messed up so i couldn-t reply sooner)
