And by that I mean, will it play pretty smoothly on the PC you think? I haven't played any of Gearbox's other PC games, like Borderlands 1 and 2, but did those games run pretty well for the PC? I mean they've been working on Aliens: Colonial Marines for all these years so it should be optimized pretty well for the PC, right? Borderlands 2 was made for pc then ported to consoles. gearbox cares about pc gamers
LOL! How wrong you really are.. @CrimsonStryke28
Having BL2 for both the PS3 and the PC I can say that it runs (and looks) significantly better on the PC.
I'm not too optimistic that this game will be worth buying period though... As great as the Borderlands series is, Gearbox had one other game that was in development hell for years which they picked up and finished. It was god awful.
Then again, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. --- Sent from my iPhone via PowerFAQs 1.9
Borderlands 1 pc was a terrible console port that required a third party utility to even slightly customize the graphics. I have not played BL2 but I have heard it has tons of customization options. I guess they learned their lesson from BL1.
As far as this game is concerned, however, I have a feeling it will have limited options, since it's been in development for nearly 7 years I'm sure it'll be your bog standard console port.
