Monolith solution seems to be found

He made two major points - that monolith had to represent a game and that answer is something that is related to game but lies outside - release date and he found a way to transcribe it. I brought in some details to meke a solution more smooth so here is what we got:
64-cube ending shows you that FEZ universe is some big hypercube - the cube that exist inside itself. So it means that somewhere in it you could see the whole universe from outside and it's our monolith. If you're interested in how it looks from inside - just press the ESC button :D
Infinity symbol looks like Polytron logo especially on burnt map. This logo is releasing monolith when you enter input combination. See the symbolism here? It's Polytron releasing Fez! So you must look at release date. 4\13\2012 or 4132012
Then you must arrange in in the same way the tome is arranged. That's why it has infinity symbol on it too. For some reason you must do it twice. This step is unclear to me but i think that it's logic is connected with those PEABEUAB letters or PEEUAABB at this point
4132012 -> 4302121 -> 4011322
Then you must write it in Fez numbers and look at directions of those dashes. Then write them in tetramino language. And that's the reason why you must stay in one specific place - to be sure that "right" is RT, not R. And then you must rotate it upside down. Because of this:
Or maybe because of that:
FraustDogger's whole approach is more complex but doesn't conflict with ingame logic. Also it was that train of thoughts that brought him to right conclusion so it's up to us now to choose preferable method.
Returning to those letters: i think that this double-processes result PEEUAABB must form some clue word if you rotate it's cube letters the right way. But since english is not my native language so this sort of puzzles is too hard for me.

I'm pretty skeptical about this.
I get the feeling that the correct solution would involve the first 8 inputs, the ones on the map, because they are the first part of the code. There's too many vague leaps of logic for my liking. Numerology at work again.

^ agreed, sorta. I agree with the release date theme (the monolith being Polytron releasing Fez does make sense), but there are too many gaps. I'd really like to just understand why the numbers are being arranged twice? And where does 4302121 come from?

I've thought the same way but if you convert them into numbers you just got some random sequences. If someone can see some meaning in them - it'd be good.
But anyway these inputs are involved - you need them for this monolith to be _released_. Act of releasing is very important.
And where does 4302121 come from?
Dumb me. I've been processing it backwards, such a shame >_<
Of course you can do it in one turn. Tome pages are arranged in this order: 15263748. You arrange 4132012 the same way ignoring the missing eight symbol
4132012 -> 4132 (012) -> 4(0)1(1)3(2)2

Ah that's what I thought. In that case, I feel like http://imgur.com/2ygmE0o makes more sense than the "casting a 3D shadow" interpretation, but maybe they're both intentional?
