How is the game different if you save Stanley Pool? I killed him, but I wasn't sure what to do. Eleanor and Sofia Lamb made it very clear they want you to kill him, but I always know there are more sides to the story in Rapture. I have not beat the game so please don't tell me what happens in the end if you kill him. I just want to know if saving him would have changed the ending. And also feel free to give opinions on whether he should have been saved or not.
It has an effect on the ending. If you want the good ending, I hope you saved Grace, because if not you're stuck with the neutral one.
Or actually the evil one if you are harvesting the Little Sisters
I saved Grace and saved the little sisters. So I guess you could say I'm going for the good ending. Did killing Stanley ruin that?
No. I saved the little sisters and Grace, and killed Stanley and the third choice person. I still ended up with the "best" ending.
It's a fact: kittens are the deadliest animals known to science.

This, as long as you saved Grace and are saving all of the Little Sisters, you can kill Stanley and the third person and still get the best ending.
Ok thanks that's good to know. If you save Stanley does he end up helping you later on like Grace does?
No he's useless

I got the bad ending 2twice good once.
But i felt a particular touch from the bad ending if you sacrifice yourself and spare grace.
Because its just nice and touching to not take your daughters freedom and give her a real life and then seeing her react to your death.
