I imagine so. The s.links was part of what made P3 so popular. They seem to be modeling this after P3 but of course with a change in locale and an added mystery theme.

I hope they make it so that you can hang out with individual party members and possibly "date" male characters.

^Not like it's mandatory. I disliked that you could only "date" girls in P3, if they keep doing this sim thing they should make it so that you can at least choose your main character's gender. That would probably work out to keep both sides happy.

Considering it would be entirely optional (like, well, the entire S. Link system in general) then I fail to see why that should make a difference. Hell, you could kiss boys in Bully if you wanted to, but you definitely didn't have to.

I'd kind of like the option of not dating girls. By that I mean the game gives you the option of whether or not you want to be in a relationship with the girl. It kind of cheapens the dating aspect when you're forced to be a man-whore. <_<

All the new info from the scans(Just in case you don't want to surf through the nine page thread):

-July 10th release
- 85% Complete
- Looks like Persona 3 but better
- 180+ Personas
- Hashino is directing, Soejima is art director and character designer, Meguro is composing
- Takes place in the countryside, a more nostalgic environment
- The theme is murder mystery/suspense, it’s a mystery thriller with twists and turns
- Multiple endings
- 1.5x the size of P3
- 60-70 hours
- There is a weather forecast system, and whenever there is a fog, a murder occurs
