I just finished Persona 3 with about 130 hours of play time and I wondered if I'll be bored if I play Persona 4 immediately, will I get a feeling of deja vu ? Is the game that different to P3?

There are a staggering amount of similarities between the two, so it will feel sort of Deja Vu. Some things are different, but you'll be doing the same thing for the most part. Building social stats, meeting with S.Links, deciding what's the best thing to do at that time of day, grind in randomly generated dungeon floors, engage moving shadows on the screen by striking them, fusing Persona, etc. But battle may (or may not) be more enjoyable since you can now opt to control your party directly and you no longer have the Tired status to deal with. And maxing all S.Links is much easier w/o a guide. I'd play it right after just because I loved P3 too and I wouldn't mind keeping that same feeling going for a little while longer, but that's just me.

If you JUST finished P3, you'll probably like it more overall than P4. That's not a bad thing, though. --- http://www.gamefaqs.com/boards/genmessage.php?board=218&topic=47740300 100th Empress Nana? Siscon Ending o/ @}-,'-,-

Go ahead. There's general similarities, but it's different enough that it shouldn't be outright monotonous.
Whether or not you'll like it better than P3.. opinions seem to be split 50/50 on this.
