just got the game is there an easier way to get gold?

Because it seems like every time i kill a monster I only get like 2 gold.

no.

but you can.
-create lots of students like this -> human, any class , male, named "A". basically make lots of this.
-then sell their equipments for gold. that's 50g each char.

its important that you have a character that will collect all the money. name him bank or something that will stand out so you dont accidentally expel them. <--there's a limit to how many students you can make so you will be forced to expel most of them.

little tip:
doing this, you would probably get bummed with removing their equips, so just go to the Laboratory, place three equips on synth, cancel then repeat until you unequipped everything. then you just go to the store and sell everything :D

there are other money making schemes here but its only really useful at the beginning.

It gets easier as the game goes on. ATM, I have more gold than I know what to do with myself. Once you get them to higher levels, and have it so everyone in both rows can fight, it gets MUCH easier. In the beginning, you'll find that treasure will matter more than gold, particularly armor and raw materials.

Get a cleric early, and a thief variant of some sort. Appraise and sell off a bunch of stuff to get gold. Monster killing for gold starts to be worth it later, but not before.
