READ BEFORE POSTING! Here are some answers to basic questions

This is my first time doing this, so it'll be a little rough. Bear with me please

-Why did you write this?
To answer the basic questions that you see on this board 24/7. Hopefully leading to a less clogged board.

-What is this game?
This is Megaman Starforce 3, Capcom's latest entry in the series. There are two versions of the game, Black Ace and Red Joker, each with some differences. They're not huge so don't worry. The release dates are shown in "Data" tab .

-What are the differences then?
-The Finalized Noise form is version exclusive. Black Ace gets Black Ace, Red Joker gets Red Joker.
-Some noise forms appear more often than others in one version.
-The giga class card for each version are different.

-Noise...Form?
If you played the Battle Network series, think of them as a mix of Style and Crosses. They have their own quirks but they're very similar. Regular noise forms have two levels, Merge-out and Color-out. Merge-out has Megaman's colors, but the Noise form's shape. Color-out has the Noise Form's Shape,color, and elemental affinity. You start in the Merge-out form and at 50% noise you go into Color-out form. You get the option to go into Finalized form at 200% noise.

-50%,200% Noise!? Wait, what is noise and how do I increase it that high?
For now just know that it determines which level of the form you're in. You raise it by killing viruses. The difference in the attack power of your card and the enemy's remaining hp. Your card inflicts 40 damage to the enemy. The enemy only has 20 hp left. Noise increases by 20 points.
40 - 20 = 20 Simple right?

-Ok, that's easy enough. You said there were other Noise forms, how many are there and what are they?
There are 11 total forms, not including the two Finalized forms. Each has an element affinity and is weak to another element. Getting hit by your weakness will send you back to Merge-out form. Each form also has it's own special abilities and charged shot.

---Libra Noise
-Non-elemental, weak to breaking type attacks.
-+10 damage to Fire and Water elemental cards.
-You get 5% of you max hp restored when you use a non-elemental card.
-Charged shot changes to 'Side Spread'. (Hits panels to the side of the target)
-NFBB is Meteorite Barrage. (Breaking)

---Corvus Noise
-Fire element, weak to Water type attacks.
-+30 damage to Fire elemental cards.
-Immune to the effects of Poison panels, hp bugs, and the Dark Hole Giga card.
-Charged shot changes to 'Shocking Flare'.(Fire elemental)
-NFBB is Atomic Blazer. (Fire elemental)

---Cancer Noise
-Water elemental, weak to Thunder type attacks.
-+30 damage to Water elemental cards.
-Water elemental cards put the target in a bubble. (Bubbles stun the enemy for a few seconds and double Thunder damage.)
-Charged shot changes to 'Bubble Shoot'. (Water elemental and puts the enemy in a bubble)
-NFBB is Dynamic Wave. (Water elemental)

---Gemini Noise
-Thunder elemental, weak to Wood type attacks.
-+30 damage to Thunder type cards.
-Sword cards will paralyze the target.
-Can use the "Tag System" from Megaman Battle Network 6.
-Charged shot changes 'Rocket Knuckle'. (Thunder/Breaking elemental and paralyzes)
-NFBB is Thunderbolt Blade. (Thunder elemental)

-Wood elemental, weak to Fire type attacks.
-+20 damage to Wood type cards.
-Non-elemental cards will inflict "Confuse" on the enemy. (Reversed movement in battle)
-Immune to "Confuse" and "Blindness". (Blindess = Can't see enemy)
Charged shot changes to 'Wood Shoot'. (Wood elemental, lays down grass panels in a 3x3 area)
-NFBB is Elemental Cyclone. (Wood/Wind)

---Cygnus Noise
-Non-elemental, weak to Sword type attacks.
-+10 damage to Non-elemental cards, +30 damage to Wind type cards.
-Air Shoes and Float Shoes. (Walk on broken panels and not affected by panel type)
-Charged Shot becomes 'Feather Vulcan'. (Wind elemental, hits panel behind the target.)
-NFBB is Meteorite Barrage.

---Ox Noise
-Fire elemental, weak to Water type attacks.
-+50 damage to Fire type cards
-Super Armor. (Don't flinch)
-Auto-lock on Non-elemental breaking type cards.
-Charged Shot changes to 'Heat Cannon'. (Fire elemental, hits row behind target)
-NFBB is Atomic Blazer.

---Virgo Noise
-Water elemental, weak to Thunder type attacks.
-+30 damage to Water elemental cards.
-Immune to "Freezing" and "Bubbling". (While frozen Breaking attacks do 2x damage)
-Charged Shot becomes 'Aqua Wave'. (Water elemental)
-NFBB is Dynamic Wave

---Crown Noise
-Thunder elemental, weak to Wood type attacks
-+20 damage to all cards
-Increased chances of a Mega or Giga type card appearing.
-Non-elemental cards inflict "Blindness".
-Charged shot changes to 'Plasma Shot'. (Thunder elemental)
-NFBB is Thunderbolt Blade.

---Wolf Noise
-Wood elemental, weak to Fire type attacks.
-+10 to Wood type cards, +30 to Sword type cards.
-Quick Gauge. (Fills up quicker)
-Auto-Lock for Wood type cards.
-Charged shot changes to 'Shock Claw'. (Wood/Sword elemental)
-NFBB is Elemental Cyclone.

---Burai/Rogue Noise
-Non-elemental.
-+50 to sword type cards.
-Mu Rejection. (Start each turn with a 1hp barrier)
-Non-time-freezing cards inflict a short paralysis effect.
-Immunity to Lock-on.
-Buster Attack power doubles.
-No NFBB.
-Can't have any Real Brothers.

-Finalized Noise

---Black Ace
-Uses a special folder when transformed.
-x2 to War-rock's attack Battle Cards.
-Buster Level MAX.
-No Charged Shots.
-Finalized Noise could Stay only for 3 turns (then the Noise % would go down to 0%).
-Auto Lock.
-Quick Guage.
-Air Shoes.
-Float Shoes.
-NFBB is Black End Galaxy.

---Red Joker
-Uses a special folder when transformed.
-x2 to War-rock's attack Battle Cards.
-Buster Level MAX.
-No Charged Shots.
-Finalized Noise could Stay only for 3 turns (then the Noise % would go down to 0%).
-Super Armor (won't cause to flinch back).
-Status Gaurd (immune to all negative status: freezing, paralyze, blind, bubbling, and confusion).

Those sound pretty cool. When do I get one?
You'll get one going through the story. Your Finalized Noise is obtained the same way. After your first Noise, you can gain more by fighting battles. If you see "Warning" flashing across your screen, get ready.

You said that some appear more often than others in one version. Which ones and what version?
The first five I listed appear more often in Black Ace, the second five in Red Joker.

What are cards?
How you attack, other than your buster. There are three categories: Standard, Mega, and Giga. You can put thirty cards in a folder, 5 of those can be Megas(1 copy of each) and 1 can be a Giga.

You said the versions had different Giga cards?
Yes: BA has Wing Blade, Darkness Hole, Thousand Kick, Break Count Bomb, and Mu Rejection.
RJ has G Meteor Laser, Destroy Missile, Buster MAX, O x Tackle, and Dopple Mirror.

Ending
Whew, glad that's done. I've probably made a lot of mistakes. I left out some parts, such as Brothers/Rivals, Gear, and combining forms, until I learn more about them or someone else explains them. This is just basic and if someone else doesn't make one after the game comes out, I'll redo it. Please post whatever I screwed up so I can fix it. The Noise forms and explanations are what I'm most concerned about though.

okay. i'm fine with that, but seeing the mu rejection card as a giga card reminded me of hte cards that were ejected from #2 english

Good job.
But when you re-do it,separate form abilities from their Color out(Vibrant form in the US version i think)abilities,and there are a few things i'd like you to add/fix about the noises:
Libra charge Shot is Wind elemental(So it doesn't flinch and destroys Aura/Barriers/SBarriers when hits).
Corvus Noise Fire bonus is only to non-time-stop cards,and it's Charge Shot inflicts a short Gravity effect.
Cancer noise Water bonus is only to non-time-stop cards(No sure though).
I don't think Gemini Charge Shot breaks.
Confusion(Which you mentioned Opiuchus noise) also doesn't let the foe Guard.
Ox doesn't have Auto-lock for Breaking cards like it should.
Crown Bonus is only for Non-time-stop(Not sure if his is for those or Gemini is) Thunder cards.
Wolf Noise Charge Shot only hits the two rows in front of you(it has a Axe/Life Sword range).
Burai isn't immune to lock-on,he just breaks it quickly.
Meteorite Barrage(Cygnus & Libra NFBB) pierces invisible, while Elemental Cyclone(Ophiuchus and Wolf) and Atomic Blazer(Corvus and Ox) hve a Wind Element (They destroy Aura/Barrier/SBarrier once they hit).
