The simple answer to your question is yes. There are a lot of differences between the two. The following link takes you to another topic where this question is already answered. If you have more questions after that then ask away.

Yes, the first one is much better.

What Tacolord said is a matter of opinion. I think the second one is better overall. However, both games are very addicting and fun. The second has a lot more to do though.

Bonboonman may be correct on the price but that isn't the issue. Being that Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise is much newer than Viva Pinata, it would make sense that it is still going for 30-40, depending on where you shop. The issue is which one you want to play, again, just go back to the link I posted earlier in this topic and read what Bonboonman and I said about some of the differences. There are more in depth descriptions of both of these games if you read the reviews for them on GameFAQs reviews.

You don't know that. The way the economy is, TC might not want to spend $40 on a terrible game. He may prefer to spend $5 on a good game.

Tacolord, it is your opinion that Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise is a terrible game and that Viva Pinata is a good game. What you said are not facts and shouldn't be stated as such.

It is my opinion that both are great games to play. However, the second game does offer more to do than the first one did. The in game mechanics also got a decent boost from the first game.

relkaw you never cease to amaze me.

I wasn't talking about the price of the game I was talking about the price of the vision camera. I even posted a link to it right below it.
