I'm confused here thanks to Serebii. On their site under their Platinum section, it says it's not possible to catch a wild Elekid in Platinum, and you either have to trade for one or breed Electabuzz. So if I can't catch wild Elekids in Platinum, how am I supposed to get the Electrizer in Platinum? Is the only way through hacking or trading from Diamond & Pearl? But then it says under the items section on their Platinum section that it can be found on wild Elekids at Valley Windworks. I have a feeling they just did a copy and paste for the most part with their Diamond & Pearl item list. So what's the correct answer here folks?

Might as well ask the inevitable follow-up question: Where's the Magmarizer? --- http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/qq303/ CharizardFire6/Char-Brawl.gif?t=1223088742

Route 214, if Serebii is to be believed. It does say wild Magby under that, but even in D/P, the Magby don't appear there. They appear at Stark Mountain. --- Jeigan would make an epic joke character. He would be like Lucario except he would get worse as the match went on. - Snakey

^I guess that helps.
By the way, I'm pretty sure that wild Electabuzz sometimes hold Electirizers and wild Magmar sometimes hold Magmarizers.
Since the hold-item chances of Electabuzz and Magmar differ between Diamond and Pearl, could someone find out what they are in Platinum? --- http://i458.photobucket.com/albums/qq303/ CharizardFire6/Char-Brawl.gif?t=1223088742
