when do you get any of these? I need to get those rocks and sticks off my land. It just looks terrible.

It's in the guides.

The Axe you get from talking a lot to Stella (the granny nun).

Sickle comes from Erik after also talking to him a lot.

The Hammer you get from Melody who is inside the Whale Island, at the second floor of the dungeon (after some ants).

Erik will only give you the sickle after you have already obtained the axe ...

The dialogue where you receive the sickle contains comments about you already having the axe in your possession ...

For the axe, you need to talk to Stella a lot, and for it to be at least Day 4 Spring, and for you to have done tilling ... how much, I am not sure ... opinions seem to be very divided on that subject ... I, myself, had only tilled about a dozen squares or so ...

This is wrong. I have the sickle but I do not have the Axe yet.

You need to till 40 squares of your field (about five 3X3 plots). That will unlock the tools.

i only tilled one 3x3 plot of land and i still got the tools. bottom line, just talk to erik, the nun and melody until you get those mentioned tools.

I'll second Visani in that I also got the Sickle before the Axe (though I got them both in the same day).

Also, tilling the land does seem unrelated as I tiled way over 40 tiles and still had to wait to at the 7th to get the damn tools.

Do I need a better axe to get rid of the stumps? I have run out of wood to chop and need a considerable amount more to add more to my house.
