What you just posted is wrong on so many levels. First, Halo 3s graphics sucked so how in the world could that be "why it's popular"? Second, graphical quality is usually a good indication of how much work and passion went into the product. So while it isn't a guarantee the game will be good if the graphics are pretty, its a good sign. Finally, I can't currently think of a modern game that has bad graphics that is any good (off the top of my head), so for someone to be worried about a game's quality because the graphics suck is perfectly reasonable. Perhaps the best example is non other than Raven Squad, 3.0 pretty much says it all. And before you call me a halo loving noob, I hate halo and just for some more cred, I played cs competitively quite a ways back (when 1.3 was all the rage). It makes sense for someone that plays cs 1.6 to tote the whole gameplay > graphics statemeant, but in this case you were just plain wrong :)

YES SIR! In addition you get offensive mexican voice acting! You'd be a fool not to pay full retail for this gem.

2bitSmOkEy, im guessing youve never heard of a game called Final Fantasy 7? since were talking modern games, how about the grand theft autos. even the new one has some lame motion blur and blurry LOD crap. i really dont care how the game looks, if it has good gameplay thats all that matters. thats all i was saying. crysis is a great looking game, but it also didnt appeal to me at all, besides the fact that Crytek was the developer.

with this case though, i played this game at my friends house...the graphics suck and the gameplay sucks, so much for hoping a good game would be released in this day and age of mediocre games.

Did you just try and tell us all that GTA4 has bad graphics?
#8KeikogiPosted 9/7/2009 6:47:32 PM
im guessing you like to shoot at blurry heads in the distance, and gtaiv PC graphics are horrid.... there is 16bit reflections on cars and the headlights are the same way. why dont you read my post and stop putting words in my mouth, i said gta had a bad post processing effect, and it does.

Considering how much is typically going on in the streets of GTA 4 all at once, the graphics are amazing. Pretty bad example.
